PAK vs ENG

HISTORY:

The last when England visited Pakistan for cricket was T20 cricket was not even introduced, yes that's right it was back in 2005 when England last visited Pakistan. And after 17 whole years they came back with everything changed and new challenges for both teams.

THIS SERIES:

England team is leaded by their new Captain Ben Stokes and in the City of Rawalpindi will be the first test match after years in home.

The second test will be played at Multan from Dec. 9-13 before England round off the tour with the final test at Karachi from Dec. 17-21.

Before that England also played a 7 T20 internationals in Pakistan which was won by England in the last t20 and then both teams went to play the T20 World Cup in Australia in which both teams again came face to face in the Almighty Final of the World cup which went in the favor of England after a strong fight from the bowling side of Pakistan.

1ST TEST MATCH (RAWALPINDI)

The first test match was played in the Great Rawalpindi stadium from 1st December 2022 to 5th December 2022. Although the pitch of that game was very flat but somehow due to the brave decisions of the England Captain Ben Stokes they were able to win the match in the last 15 minutes of day 5 by staggering 74 runs, and bowling out Pakistan all on 268.

The second match will be played in Multan starting from 9th December and Pakistan will definitely be looking to strike back and level the series as this series is also very important for the upcoming World Test Championship for both the teams.

As both the teams want to play final of the WTC and to play that they have to be in top 2 of the Group list.

Pakistan will be without its key fast bowler Shaheen Afridi, who has been ruled out of the series due to knee injury. The home team has also dropped middle-order batter Fawad Alam and ace leg-spinner Yasir Shah due to poor form.

And also in the first test match the worldcup hero fast bowler Haris Rauf was also injured and could not play the second test. We will have to wait and see for his replacement.

However most of the people are looking forward for the former Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed to be the part of 2nd Test in the placement of M Rizwan who is playing very constantly for Pakistan and a little break for him would be very pleasing.

England has also included 18-year-old Leicestershire allrounder Rehan Ahmed in the squad after originally drafting him as a net bowler for the tour.
