Waqar Younis is a
retired Pakistani cricketer who played as a right-arm fast bowler. He is
considered one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time. He is the youngest
player to reach the milestone of taking 300 Test wickets, and the first
Pakistani bowler to take 400 Test wickets. He was known for his ability to
generate reverse swing with the old cricket ball. He was also the national
team's captain. He retired from international cricket in 2003 and later became
a coach. He has also worked as a cricket commentator and television expert.
