Saeed Anwar is a retired Pakistani cricketer and former opener for the Pakistan national cricket team. He is considered one of the greatest batsmen in Pakistan's history and one of the best openers the team has had. He began his international cricket career in 1989 and retired in 2003. He represented Pakistan in 55 Test matches and 247 One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Anwar was known for his elegant and stylish batting, and his ability to score runs consistently. He was also known for his ability to score quickly, which made him a valuable player in limited-overs cricket. He scored 8824 runs in ODIs at an average of 39.21, with a highest score of 194.
